How to change aspect ratio on the display monitor?

Usually you don't need to, that is if you have an LCD monitor the screen should adjust itself. I don't know exactly why you would want to change the aspect ratio unless you use your computer to view movies, in that case you should go to Control Panel/Display Settings/Settings and change the screen resolution to something in a widescreen (or if you're doing the opposite) normal screen settings, but this is at a limitation to your graphics card.



If, by any chance, you may be using a CRT monitor (and if so i recommend highly that you buy an LCD) the settings are usually on the monitor itself, screen width/height changes.
