Can someone tell how to change the aspect ration of the JVC Everio GZ-MS120 camcorder to 16:9?!?

I just don't understand this stupid camcorder.. It says the aspect ratio is 16:9 but when I put it on my computer it's 4:3... WTF



Someone please tell me before I destroy this ******* thing..Can someone tell how to change the aspect ration of the JVC Everio GZ-MS120 camcorder to 16:9?!?Couple of things might be happening.

First,

Hook your camera directly to your television and play back something you've already recorded. It should show up on your TV as being 16:9 if you in fact recorded it that way.



If it doesnt show up on your TV in 16:9 then you are SOL and there is no need to try anything else.



If it is 16:9 on your TV then it is your editing software that needs to be adjusted.

Open the Capture Settings in whatever software you are using and make sure you are capturing the video from the camera in 16:9, not 4:3
